Albert started in Mini Sprint racing, at the age of 6. From that first time he sat in the seat, his love for Motorsport was cemented.

The trophies and race wins arrived and each time he went out on track, the love grew stronger and his abilities were perfected. The English Championship was won, followed by the British title and the World Cup.

​

A natural progression into cars followed, with Albert racing in the Junior Autograss series, piloting his classic Mini and a Nissan Micra. A move into the Hot Rod Oval series onboard a Citroen C2, proved successful, with multiple podiums. Again, Albert took to it like a duck to water and after a few seasons, Albert was ready to move to circuit racing, piloting his Ford Fiesta Junior race car at the age of 14.

Over the years, Albert has perfected his racing style, which he called upon during his time in the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Series. In what is known as a hotly contested series, Albert was immediately on the pace and podiums were coming his way. Two seasons and many trophies later, Albert had to move up a class, due to being too old for the Juniors.

 

For 2024 the Airtec Fiesta ST240 Championship was chosen. With a plethora of drivers, of all ages, it wasn't going to be easy, in what would be his first Senior racing championship.

 

After many bitten nails and many race wins, Albert became the Overall Champion!  Nobody could believe it and we are immensely proud of his achievement.

 

For 2024, after entering the prestigious Mini Challenge Scholarship, and with a a hard fought multi day knockout, Albert won! He will now compete in the new Mini Challenge Sport series, in 2024!
 

Albert is lucky to be supported by Shaun Hollamby (the famous BTCC team owner) who has been by Albert's side since that first foray into Mini Sprints.
